That’s what small business owner David Clark Sally finds himself in right now. This is a very difficult time for David and entrepreneurs like him, but he believes that closures and distancing guidelines are a necessary measure to keeping Wisconsin consumers healthy and safe. Here’s the message his has to all of those who are in the same predicament:

“As a small business owner, I am always worried. So many of us entrepreneurs are struggling to survive the impact of the pandemic. At the same time, I understand that so much HAS to change right now. Quarantine doesn’t do my business any favors, but we can’t operate as “normal” anymore. That’s just not doable. This creates uncertainty with my clientele. Will tomorrow be the day that someone finally takes their business elsewhere, or simply removes themselves as a consumer? What will happen to my business if this continues? It’s hard to know, and it’s impossible to not have these concerns — but i’ll keep on keeping on. It’s not easy, but I hope other Wisconsin small businesses will, too.”
