With school starting back up, I’m sure we are all feeling a little anxious about the unknown regarding the format of classes. Being an artist in undergrad, I rely on community & collaboration with others, and being in a classroom setting is the only way I can truly progress.
Last semester, I had to abandon multiple projects that I was very passionate about due to Covid-19. These projects will likely never be finished due to restricted access to facilities for safety reasons. I wear my mask so that this semester isn’t a repeat of last.
Keeping everybody safe is all of our responsibilities, and I wish all other students the best of luck. Wearing a mask is the least anyone can do—and we should strive to not only do the bare minimum, but to be proactive in preventative measures for the safety of our community.
Everybody Has A Reason To Mask Up
What’s your COVID story? For Madison, it’s a story of the opportunities she’s losing at art school. Classes may be slated to continue, but for someone whose major relies so heavily on collaboration, new class formats don’t allow her to grow as she would like.
